Until we meet again, dear Athens.
The love of God is on the move through the door of this ancient city.
God’s will for the nations is unstoppable.
Serving alongside our Persian brothers and sisters in Christ, ministry partners, and church team members, we offered encouragement to new believers in the city, readied a ministry center for training classes, walked in apostle Paul’s footsteps, and met the needs of refugee families.
I’m humbled and inspired.
What unites us in His love and compassion is far greater than anything that may divide us.
Serve Him wherever we are today. Our homes, our places of work, our places of worship, our schools.
Extend grace. Everyone needs it. Everyone deserves it.
Love God and love our neighbors as ourselves.
This is church. This is change.
Sow peace.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation”
~2 Corinthians 5:17-18
